Despite warmer than usual temps, the 24-Hour Holly’s Hope Ski-A-Thon at Pats Peak was a success! The final tally was more than $15,000 towards the goal of a wheelchair-accessible van for Holly Franz, a New Hampshire teen with Friedreich’s Ataxia, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. (Holly is pictured above with yours truly and Frank Tansey of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire board of directors.)
With more than 80 participants, the attitude in the air was really positive and very supportive. We raised a big chunk of money in just 24 hours – and look forward to more events down the road!
In addition to handling all the signage, Infusion Studio designed a beautiful commemorative t-shirt for the occasion. Other corporate sponsors of the 24-Hour Holly’s Hope Ski-A-Thon included Pats Peak, Sysco, 101.7 – The Pulse, Ocean Spray, Ride-Away, and SnoCountry.com.
